I've spent a long time thinking about it, and I've decided I can't carry on with this blog. It was always difficult given that I occasionally spend longish periods of time away from Manchester, and my job is leaving me with very little free time. Taking photos is in danger of becoming a chore rather than a hobby, which I never want it to be.
If I see anything particularly photogenic, I may post occasionally. But this is no longer a daily photo blog.
This photo is a night version of one of the very first photos on Manchester Daily Photo.
Thanks everyone :-)

The Street With No Name

I've always wanted to photograph this street since I've been running this blog. It really does have no name, as you can see on this map:
It's the little spur to the left of the railway station.

Co-operative

We've seen the Co-op before; this is one of the more modern adjacent building. The statue is of Robert Owen, socialist and founder of the co-operative movement.

Hoarding

This is possibly one of the tallest billboards I've ever seen; click for perspective.

Tall building

Tall buildings aren't unusual in Manchester, but it's not often you see anything stick out quite as much as this one.
